Photogram Cyanotype

2018-04-28

Cyanotype is a photographic printing process, monochromatic and iron salted based, discovered in 1842 by Sir John Herschel. Considered as an alternative procedure by the history of photography, it allows photographic prints in a blue color graduation scale. Cyanotype, like the other analog photography processes, only requires the use of the right chemicals, paper, a darkroom and light. In this workshop, we propose to explore the process of cyanotype by making photograms (images that does not require a photographic camera).
